Fall Semester Admissions Schedule:
(Note, this is an estimate, exact dates will vary according to specific circumstances):

  May 1   Application Process Begins
  June 15   Early Application Deadline. If you apply before July 30th you get
  priority choice in location and program length.
  August 15   Last Day for Applications
  Early September   Leave for China

   Jan. 25th-Feb.15th     Winter Break (Includes Spring Festival)
   June 28th- July 4th     Summer Vacation (one week vacation if participating in
    Summer Program)
   June 28th- August 30th     Summer Vacation (2 months if not participating in
    Summer Program)
   Dec. 25th     Christmas (1 or 2 Days)

    March 8     International Women’s Day (women get half day off and full pay)

    June 1     Children’s Day (Children 13 and under get full day off)
    August 1     National Army Day (Members of armed forces hold special functions) 
    October 1     China National Republic Day (7 day holiday)

  Dec 27-31   Teach for 5 days

  Jan 3-16   Teach Mon-Fri 18 hours a week. Two day weekends
  Jan 17-21   Final days of school. Exams and Saying Good Bye
  Jan22-Feb15   Winter Break and Spring Festival

    May 1-6   May Day. 6 Day National Holiday.
    May 4   National Youth Day (Special Celebrations for youth 14-20 yrs old)
    May 7-May 30   Teach Mon-Fri 18 hours a week. Two day weekends
    June 1   National Children’s Day (Celebrations for children under 13)
    Jun 2-Jun 20   Teach Mon-Fri 18 hours a week. Two day weekends
    Jun 21-Jun 24   Final days of school. Exams and Saying Good Bye
    Jun 25-Jul 4   Summer Break until Summer School
    (Jun 25-Sept 5)   (Summer Break with no Summer School)
